Everything below explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, how long we keep it, who else sees it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. About these terms
These terms cover every purchase, fitting booking and commission made through Freemindadventures, whether you buy in the shop at 275 Grey Street or on this website. Placing an order means you agree to them.
We can update these terms when our service changes. The version shown on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies.
Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We can change prices at any time, but not after we have confirmed your order.
- An order is a request, not a contract, until we confirm it by email
- Payment is due in full for stock items and fifty percent for made-to-measure commissions
- If an item sells in the shop before your online order is processed, we remove it and refund you in full
- Where a listed price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before charging anything
Fittings, commissions and cancellations
Fitting appointments can be moved or cancelled free of charge up to twenty-four hours before the booking. Later than that we may ask for a small fee to cover the slot.
Once a bespoke commission has been cut, the deposit is non-refundable because the cloth has been marked. Any balance is due before collection.
Shipping and risk
We post Australia-wide and to selected overseas destinations. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you when the courier confirms delivery, so please check the parcel before signing.
If a parcel arrives damaged, tell us within three days and keep the packaging so we can raise a claim.
Liability
Our liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
We do not accept liability for delays caused by weather, couriers or events outside our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute is handled in the courts of that state. If a clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

You can ask Freemindadventures for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request from the email you used at checkout so we can match the account, and we will confirm once it is done.
