The studio sits at 275 Grey Street in South Brisbane, a couple of minutes from the busway and a short walk from the South Bank ferry terminal. Use the form below for fittings, tailoring quotes or alterations, and someone will reply the same day while we are open. If your question is quick, phoning is still the fastest way to get an answer.

Pick whichever suits you. If you are booking a fitting, the form is the easiest because it asks the right questions up front.
Phone the studio
Best for quick questions about stock, opening hours or whether a specific shoe is on the shelf before you drive in. Someone picks up during trading hours, and if we are with a customer you can leave a message and we will call back.

Email us
Good for alterations described in detail, tailoring quotes and anything with photos attached. We read the inbox every morning and again after lunch, so an email sent overnight usually gets an answer before midday.

Visit in person
Walk in any day we are open and you will be seen, usually within ten minutes. Bring the shoes or garment you are worried about and we can look at it properly rather than guessing from a description.

The fitting bench runs on appointment and walk ins both. Saturdays get busy, so come early if you want a proper slot without booking.

Around the Brisbane Marathon and the start of wedding season we open earlier on Saturdays. Call ahead if you are driving in from outside the city.
Things worth knowing before you come
- Street parking on Grey Street is metered until 7pm weekdays
- The South Bank busway station is a four minute walk away
- Bring the shoes or garment you are asking about
- Fittings run forty five minutes, so allow a little extra for a try on
- Card, cash and afterpay all work at the counter

Handles the technical questions about trail shoes, insoles and foot pain. If you describe a blister or a numb toe in an email, hers is usually the reply you get.

Takes the tailoring enquiries and quotes the made to measure work. Mention the date you are dressing for and he will check the diary before promising a turnaround.

Quotes the repair and alteration jobs. A photo of the garment from a couple of angles will get you a price faster than anything else you can send.

Worn floorboards, a bench that has been moved three times, and a wall of cloth bunches you are welcome to pull apart.

Questions we get asked on the phone every week
You can turn up any day we are open and someone will help you, usually within ten minutes. Booking matters most on Saturdays and in the two weeks before a big race, when the bench fills up and walk ins might wait forty minutes or more.
Same day while we are trading. Messages that arrive overnight get an answer before midday the next working day. If you need a faster reply, ring the studio. The phone gets picked up during opening hours and someone can check stock while you are on the line.
Yes. Bring the item in and we will look at it while you are there and give you a number. Alterations get quoted before any cutting starts, and if the job is not worth doing we will tell you straight rather than take the money.
Metered street parking runs along Grey Street, and there is a paid car park a block away off Tribune Street. The South Bank busway station and the CityCat ferry terminal are both a few minutes on foot, which is often easier than driving in.
We keep them to answer your enquiry and nothing else. No marketing list, no passing anything on. The Privacy Policy sets out how long we hold messages and how to ask us to delete them if you want to.
